John Deere is a major manufacturer of agricultural equipment.
After Ken Cosgrove brought them on as a client for the Sterling Cooper Advertising Agency, he triumphantly drove into the office on a John Deere riding lawnmower.
Later that day at an office party following the announcement of Guy MacKendrick as the new head of Sterling Cooper, the lawnmower was driven around the office by a variety of drunken employees.
