Biography[]
Kurt is a German designer brought on board at Sterling Cooper with his creative partner Smitty Smith in an effort to hire a team with visibility into youth culture. Kurt appears to be a Beat and is also gay. He takes Peggy Olson to a Bob Dylan concert after cutting her hair. ("The Jet Set")
He was not brought along to Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce when Sterling Cooper was sold to McCann Erickson. ("Shut the Door. Have a Seat") It is implied that Kurt now works for Cutler, Gleason, and Chaough along with Smitty, presumably still in creative. ("The Chrysanthemum and the Sword")
