Biography[]
Lyle Evans was a doctor mentioned by Roger Sterling during his rant against the Japanese in the Honda meeting, wondering if Bertram Cooper's forgiving attitude to the Japanese should be extended to Dr. Lyle Evans if he were brought into the office. No explanation was given at that time about who Evans was ("The Chrysanthemum and the Sword")
Later, Don discovered a tape that Roger was using to record his memoirs. On that tape Roger mentioned that Evans had performed an unnecessary orchiectomy on Bertram Cooper. He then jokingly postulated that Cooper had him killed. ("The Suitcase")
Quote[]
"Why don't we just bring Dr. Lyle Evans in here?"
"Who is Dr. Lyle Evans??"
--Roger Sterling and Pete Campbell, "The Chrysanthemum and the Sword"
